About

Trunk Dimensions is a product of the design-tech company Corthus. After ten years and countless rental-car experiences, we had had enough of the constant uncertainty about whether our luggage for a ski trip or summer vacation would fit in the trunk of a new car. Every time, we went hunting for measurements again just to be sure.

Even when we eventually found the figures after a long search, the frustration remained: why is it so hard to get reliable trunk dimensions? Why isn’t there simply a website with trunk dimensions for every car?

In September 2025 we answered that question with a simple thought: “If it doesn’t exist, we’ll build it.” That is how Trunk Dimensions began.

We collect trunk dimensions, maintain them in our database and create clear illustrations of the most important vehicle models. We place great value on reliable data. Please help us improve the dataset: if you spot an error, get in touch.
