Trunk dimensions ORA Funky Cat

The trunk of the ORA Funky Cat 2023 offers a volume of about 8.1 cu ft, which can be expanded up to 30.3 cu ft by folding down the rear seats. The rear bench is split 60:40, allowing flexibility in transport. The interior design is modern and functional, with a low loading lip that facilitates loading and unloading.

The trunk dimensions may vary within the model range, but the practical shape remains constant. Typical features include good accessibility and well-thought-out storage spaces that make the trunk user-friendly for everyday use.

Model Information

The ORA Funky Cat is a compact electric city car characterized by its modern design and innovative technology. It was developed by the Chinese automaker Great Wall Motors and aims to provide an environmentally friendly mobility solution for urban drivers.

The Funky Cat combines stylish aesthetics with practical functions and offers an appealing range for daily use. With a focus on sustainability and user-friendliness, the Funky Cat is an interesting option in the growing electric vehicle market.

Variants of the Same Series

The ORA Funky Cat is offered in various variants, including different equipment levels that differ in terms of performance, range, and comfort. However, there are no other body variants such as convertible or wagon.

The main variants focus on equipment and battery capacity, meaning buyers can choose between different performance options without having to worry about different body types.

Trunk Volume

The trunk of the ORA Funky Cat offers a volume of about 8.1 cu ft, which is considered adequate for a small car in this class. The trunk is well designed to allow practical use and provides sufficient space for everyday shopping or luggage for short trips.

The rear seats are foldable, which expands transport options and creates additional space for larger items. The trunk opening is wide and allows easy loading and unloading.

Yearly Differences

The ORA Funky Cat was first introduced in 2021. Since then, there have been some adjustments and improvements that could affect the body dimensions and trunk capacity.

The model updates in the following years mainly focused on software updates and minor design changes, while the basic dimensions of the vehicle and the trunk remained largely constant. Future model years could, however, bring further optimizations.

Direct Competition

In the same price range and size as the ORA Funky Cat, models such as the Mini Electric and the Honda e can be found. The Mini Electric offers a trunk volume of about 7.5 cu ft, while the Honda e provides slightly less space with about 6 cu ft.

Compared to this, the Funky Cat has an advantage in terms of trunk space, making it more attractive for buyers who value storage capacity.

More Affordable Alternatives

For buyers looking for more affordable alternatives with similar trunk dimensions, models such as the Dacia Spring Electric or the Fiat 500 Electric could be considered. The Dacia Spring offers a trunk volume of about 10.2 cu ft, making it the best choice in this category.

The Fiat 500 Electric, on the other hand, has a volume of about 6.5 cu ft. These models provide a cost-effective option without having to forgo an acceptable trunk size, although they may offer less equipment or performance in other areas.
