Accessibility: The tailgate is hinged on the left (side-opening). This does not facilitate removing large, left-sided cargo; when opened, the door requires a lot of space behind the vehicle and blocks the left side, so the cargo compartment is practically only accessible from the passenger side.

The loading opening is high and of average width.

Loading height and handling: The loading edge is relatively low at 24.4 in, making loading back-friendly. When unloading, a small step of 2.8 in is inconvenient. With the rear bench folded down, a high step forms in the loading floor, and latches protrude, so the loading surface is not flat.

Equipment and operation: The cargo compartment lighting is weak (only one lamp). The rear bench can be split asymmetrically, but the entire bench folds forward only as a unit; folding is laborious, and securing requires hooking straps into the front seat headrests.

For cargo securing, only tie-down rings are available; storage compartments for small items are missing.

Everyday effect: Advantages are the low loading edge and the high usable interior height when needed.

Disadvantages include limited side accessibility due to the side-hinged door, the not entirely flat loading surface after folding, the cumbersome operation of the rear bench, and the weak lighting — all factors that can complicate daily loading, storing bulky items, or loading/unloading at night.

Additionally, there is a risk of injury from sharp edges when the door is open (mind your head/forehead).
