Under the foldable loading floor is an approx. 45-liter storage compartment for tools or cables.
The standard Smart Cargo System allows a twofold folding loading floor, which divides the cargo space and creates a flat surface when folded.
The rear seatback folds asymmetrically; a central pass-through (ski pass-through) is missing. When front seats are pushed far back, headrests must be removed to fold the seatbacks completely.
The tailgate opens electrically in the Takumi trim (button in the cockpit, remote control, tailgate itself), but there is no hands-free foot sensor opening.
The loading opening is generous, the tailgate swings wide open (only bothers people taller than ≈1.85 m); the opening height can be adjusted.
Inside, there are few additional storage options in the trunk, and the lighting is rather weak with only one light.

Conclusion: Sufficient for shopping, family daily use, and medium-sized luggage, but rather limited for larger furniture or frequent transport of bulky items.

The foldable rear seat offers up to nearly 35.3 cu ft (roof-high, depending on measurement), but in everyday use, the lower independent measurements are more realistic.
