Trunk dimensions XPeng G6

The XPeng G6 SUV 2025 offers a trunk volume of about 17.7 cu ft, which can be expanded up to 56.5 cu ft by folding down the rear seats. The rear bench is split 60:40, allowing flexibility when transporting larger items. The interior is modernly designed, with high-quality materials and well-thought-out storage spaces.

The trunk dimensions vary slightly within the model range, but the basic shape remains rectangular, optimizing usability. The loading edge is low, making loading easier. Practical features such as tie-down hooks and a removable cover are also present to enhance functionality.

Model Information

The XPeng G6 is a modern SUV distinguished by its innovative technology and appealing design. With a focus on electromobility, the G6 offers a combination of performance, efficiency, and comfort.

The interior is designed for user-friendliness, with a clear focus on digital interfaces and connectivity. The G6 is part of XPeng's growing product lineup, which focuses on the needs of environmentally conscious drivers.

Variants of the Same Series

The XPeng G6 is offered as an SUV and thus differs from other models within the XPeng range, such as sedans or wagons.

Currently, there are no other variants of the G6 relevant in terms of body style or design. Buyers should note that the G6 is specifically designed as an SUV to avoid confusion with other vehicle types.

Trunk Volume

The trunk of the XPeng G6 offers generous cargo space that is sufficient for most everyday transport needs. The trunk volume is about 17.7 cu ft, making it a practical choice for families and active lifestyles.

The rear seats can be folded down to create additional space for larger items. The loading area is easily accessible, facilitating loading and unloading. Additionally, various fastening options are available to securely transport luggage and other items.

Model Year Differences

The XPeng G6 was first introduced in 2023. To date, there have been no significant model changes affecting the body or trunk dimensions.

Future model years could, however, bring adjustments in size or design that might influence the trunk's functionality. Buyers should check the latest information from XPeng to stay informed about possible changes.

Direct Competition

In the same price class and size as the XPeng G6 are models like the Tesla Model Y and the Ford Mustang Mach-E. The Tesla Model Y offers a trunk volume of about 67.1 cu ft when the rear seats are folded down, making it superior in this regard.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E has a trunk volume of about 50.1 cu ft. In comparison, the G6 offers competitive volume but not the largest in this category.

More Affordable Alternatives

More affordable models offering similar trunk dimensions include the Dacia Duster and the Kia Stonic. The Dacia Duster has a trunk volume of about 16.9 cu ft, positioning it close to the G6. The Kia Stonic, on the other hand, has a smaller trunk volume of about 12.4 cu ft.

These alternatives provide a cost-effective solution for buyers seeking an SUV with acceptable trunk dimensions but without some of the advanced technologies of the XPeng G6.
